Ayubu first heard about MindLeaps from neighbors, who told him it was a good opportunity to get back into the schooling system. His home is very crowded; he lives with his parents and siblings, and his mother supports the family by working as a cleaner at Nyamirambo Stadium. They sometimes face eviction by their landlord, but Ayubu stays positive. He says that MindLeaps has given him motivation to wake up in the morning, take care of himself, and listen to his teachers at school.
