Cherif dropped out school in the 9th grade, because her dad fell ill and they could no longer afford the school fees.  But Cherif is very strong and determined. She loves spending time with her family and friends and particularly enjoys playing with young children. MindLeaps trains the top dance students to become teachers, so that MindLeaps can expand its programming in Guinea and internationally. Cherif was selected to participate in the training program. Over the course of the month, she spent the most hours out of any of the trainees watching classes and practicing her teaching.  In addition to teaching, Cherif also dreams of studying to become a doctor in the future.
