Diane, age 12, live with her mother, 3 siblings (including Passy and Pascaline, both MindLeaps students) in Nyakabanda, Kigali. She had to drop out of school after only getting as far as the 1st grade due to extreme poverty. She found out about MindLeaps through her brother Passy, who brought Diane to MindLeaps for the start of the girls program. She loves her birthday, but does not know when it actually is, but she says her mother knows. Her dream for the future is work for a big company, such as an energy company.
