12-year-old Jean Paul currently lives with his mother, who washes clothes in the neighborhood, and his five siblings. Before joining MindLeaps, Jean Paul had a difficult time finding food and would often go to sleep hungry. This constant hunger caused Jean Paul to struggle in school despite his older brother tutoring him at home whenever he had time. Today, Jean Paul is happy to have more consistent tutoring through the Accelerated Learning Program and a guaranteed lunch every day!
