"My child is in a very difficult situation. Only when I go out begging do we eat. Otherwise he has to figure it out on his own and with friends.
- Kerfallah's mother
Kerfallah Sanoh (in the orange shirt in the above photo) lives with his mother in Conakry, Guinea. His father is deceased and his mother is handicapped. The family of seven survives off of begging in the streets. Their home life is very difficult, and their ability to eat depends on whether his mother receives any food or money from begging that day. Kerfallah joined the MindLeaps program recently and is very happy to be a part of it. His mother is also excited to have Kerfallah at MindLeaps, and noted that his behavior has changed significantly since he started the program.
