Lincoln lives in Gitega with his mother, who initially introduced him to MindLeaps. Before joining MindLeaps, Lincoln was unable to attend school because of his family's financial situation. Now, he loves wearing his school uniform and having a resource outside of school to receive more tutoring. At home, Lincoln lives with both of his parents. His dad used to be a moto-taxi driver but is now unemployed. Lincoln's family still struggles financially, which means that they often have to jump from house to house as they do their best to pay rent.
