17-year-old Shukurani says that his discipline was very bad before joining MindLeaps. It was also very difficult for him to see all of his friends attend school every day when he was unable to. Now, however, Shukurani respects authority and is so happy to finally have the chance to prove himself in school with MindLeaps’ sponsorship. He also loves the dance program! Shukurani lives with his mother and two other siblings; his brother is sponsored to go to school through another organization and his sister works as a maid.
